public cooking classes ( for private classes, click here)

All classes are taught in Confituras commercial kitchen. We will prep all the ingredients for you. Classes are broken in four stations and you will be sharing a station with class members. There are 4 people in one station. All classes are hands on and you are able to ask questions, taste food and help the team cook the food. There is a break after the first dish to sit down and get to know each other while enjoying the first dish that you prepare in class together. We will eat dinner at the end of the class.

From our students

“It was clear that the instructor had expert level knowledge coupled with a passion for cooking. In addition to this, the class had a very down to earth atmosphere that made me feel comfortable asking questions. Awesome class! I cannot wait to try and make this again. I will consider taking another class.”

“I enjoyed it tremendously and learned a lot. I'm not a beginning cook, but a newcomer to preparing Thai cuisine. I loved learning the history and the techniques, especially appreciated the tastes and smells throughout. That really cemented the learning experience in my tired head.”

“I very much enjoyed the class. Jam was a very good teacher, and she made even complicated recipes seem very do-able. I feel like I learned a lot and can replicate the meals at home.”

"LOVED the class. I loved how hands on it was...and that it was a smaller group. It took some of the mystique and fear out of cooking Thai food and made me realize if I have the CORRECT ingredients (such as galanga and Kaffir lime leaves) that I too can make wonderful Thai food that my husband will love. Thanks so much and I look forward to taking another class from you."
